Este recorrido une dos destinos icónicos atravesando la Comarca Andina, combinando caminos de ripio y asfalto, bosques nativos, lagos de origen glaciario y pequeños pueblos de montaña. La travesía se inicia en Esquel visitaremos el primer día el campo de Tulipanes y en las próximas etapas nos internaremos en el entorno del Parque Nacional Los Alerces, donde los primeros kilómetros ofrecen un contacto directo con la naturaleza: ríos cristalinos, vegetación exuberante y paisajes de gran valor escénico. A lo largo del recorrido se atraviesan sectores como Bahía Rosales y Villa Lago Rivadavia, con vistas privilegiadas de lagos y cordones montañosos. Son etapas de dificultad moderada, con desniveles progresivos y tramos de baja circulación vehicular, ideales para el cicloturismo. La ruta continúa hacia Epuyén, un pueblo rodeado de naturaleza, reconocido por su lago y su tranquilidad. Desde allí, el último tramo conduce a El Bolsón, con un perfil más suave y mayor presencia de asfalto. 310 km. from the city of Neuquén is Villa Pehuenia, a mountain village nestled in an amphitheater of hills and lakes with white sand beaches hidden in the Patagonian forest. Its name refers to a Patagonian tree called pehuen in the Mapuche language (araucaria). These ancient trees contain the history of the Patagonian peoples and the aboriginal cultures found there.
During the winter holidays, we propose a cycle tour from the picturesque city of Villa Merlo, located at the foot of the Comechingones mountains, recognized worldwide for its benign microclimate. The proposal is to make three bike circuits of approx. 50/60 km, moderate difficulty.
It is a landscape itinerary that will permanently dazzle our eyes and senses throughout its journey. It has its starting point in the city of Esquel, we will discover along the route permanent changes of panoramas, whose maximum milestones are made up of the passage from the Patagonian steppe to the Andean forest, with its numerous lakes and rivers. We will enjoy a full outdoor activity, camping in front of the lakes and then in a mountain inn near El Bolsón.
The south of Chile offers us an unprecedented landscape, it is a pleasure for the senses to travel part of the Austral Highway, where the extensive Cordillera meets the Pacific Sea.
